My Story
Intuitive Astrologer & Healing Practitioner — Integrating Yogic Wisdom, Nature and Depth Psychology
A curious love for life, awe and wonder, and a spirit to explore the unknown have formed my life's path. So have pain, loss, wounds, and the questions that arise when the life we are living no longer feels authentic or true.
Like you, my life is one of many lifetimes and countless stories… it is the mystery and the magic that inspires me and calls me forward.
As a child there was very little consistency in my life. We moved more times than anyone I know, but the one thing I could always count on was Nature. No matter where we ended up I would find my sense of belonging and connection in a forest, a tree and many spirit guides and friends who came to teach me that we are never alone.
I became a Mother with great enthusiasm, feeling a deep soul connection with my children from before they were born. From the moment they took their first breaths, I was unravelled by love so deep and profound it changed me at my core. I remain forever devoted to them, and to the ways they have been — and continue to be — my greatest teachers in life.
In university I studied literature, poetry, philosophy and esoteric traditions academically and experientially, exploring spiritual practices and wisdom traditions East and West. For more than two decades, I worked as a freelance journalist, following that same curiosity into stories, people, places, and ideas. I have always been drawn to what lies beneath the surface — the questions that don't have easy answers, the mysteries of consciousness, and the ancient teachings that have explored what it means to live with wisdom and gratitude for the life we have been given.
From a young age, yoga and meditation have been a meaningful part of that exploration. A call from within took me to India, where I studied and lived in the Himalayas, immersing myself in traditional kriya and tantric practices, meditation, and the philosophical teachings of yoga as the science of consciousness.
Along the way, I taught yoga, co-ran a yoga school, and in India received a Masters certification in Yoga. I have facilitated holistic healing retreats in the jungles of Costa Rica, the countryside of Iceland, and around the isles of the West Coast of British Columbia. Many years working alongside plant medicines allowed me to develop close relationships with them as guides and healers. The great wisdom of Nature has supported me in healing deep wounds, and wise plant allies have allowed me the great privilege of holding space for people through profound experiences of healing, opening, and transformation. I have also worked 1:1 with people for many years, mentoring and accompanying them through their own inner journeys.
In India I also studied Vedic Astrology — the science of light. I came to understand astrology not simply as a predictive tool, but as a way of entering into deeper relationship with Nature, Soul and Spirit. Astrology, when understood as a mirror, becomes a language that can help us remember who we are beneath our layers of conditioning and the personas we have learned to inhabit. A birth chart can illuminate our patterns and shadows, but also our gifts, our deeper nature, and the particular qualities we may be here to develop and share.
For me, astrology is ultimately a way of remembering.
My studies in depth psychology have provided a powerful framework for much of my ongoing work. I am fascinated by the psyche's journey toward wholeness — what Jung called individuation — and by its striking parallels with the yogic path of self-realization.
We spend our lives trying to remember what matters, who we are, and why we are here. Each of us eventually seeks to know our authentic self, to collect the pieces of our soul we have lost along the way — to embody a lived experience that feels true and meaningful for us.
I don't believe healing is about fixing what is broken. The healing path can bring an awakening that changes the way we see ourselves and the world, but it is never something we simply complete and move beyond. It is a lifelong process of remembering, rewilding and reintegrating our innate wholeness.
Sometimes the psyche shows us what has been forgotten through dreams, symbols, synchronicities, relationships and the shadow. Sometimes plant medicines open a door. Sometimes a birth chart reveals a pattern we have lived inside without ever seeing clearly.
And sometimes, beneath all of it, the heart whispers… there is more of me here.
Curiosity opens the door. Every time I have the privilege of reading someone's birth chart, I see a unique spark of the Divine, unlike any other — a soul on a journey through this life, carrying its own particular gifts, challenges and mysteries.
No one has it easy here. Suffering can be mighty and immense. And yet I have never seen a chart that did not also contain beauty, purpose and opportunities for growth. Perspective changes everything.
As Within, So Throughout. As Above, So Below.
The more unravelled I become by love, the more it feels clear that life is like a hall of mirrors — every experience, every relationship, every encounter with beauty and every encounter with pain reflects some part of ourselves back to us.
From the farthest planet to the smallest blade of grass, we are all connected as Nature. From the brightest star in the sky to the light that shines through your eyes, the great mystery that holds us is singing all the time.
Perhaps the question is whether we are willing to listen — beneath the noise of the mind, beneath the stories we have inherited, to listen for the quiet voice of soul, the heart's endless song.
This is the work I offer: a sacred space to look deeply, to question what you have been taught about who you are, to reconnect with Nature as you are, and to listen for the deeper truth beneath it all.
Because perhaps the greatest journey is not becoming someone else.
Perhaps it is remembering who you were before you forgot.
Becoming authentically who we are may be the most radical thing a human being can do — and the privilege of a lifetime.
